Search for an asset by name or symbol, or browse the available categories. Select an asset, choose an alert type, enter your condition, and create the alert. The asset must have the market data required for that condition.
Daily move alerts watch the asset's reported daily percentage or absolute change. Target value alerts watch for a fixed price or value to be reached or crossed. Both alert types complete after they trigger once. Continuous monitoring alerts notify you each time the asset crosses another percentage or absolute-change level and then continue from that level. Available units depend on the asset.
Alert conditions are evaluated on StockPing's server. Triggered alerts are saved in the app's notification history. If you allow notifications in iOS Settings and your device is registered for push notifications, StockPing can also send a push notification. Delivery may vary with network conditions and Apple Push Notification service.
Check that notifications are allowed for StockPing in iOS Settings and that your device has a network connection. Open StockPing's Notifications tab to see whether an alert event was recorded. Market data may be delayed or unavailable for some assets or periods. Alerts triggered while system notifications are disabled remain in the app's history, but older push notifications are not sent later when you enable notifications.
Yes. Open an alert from the Alerts tab to manage it. Resuming or editing an alert restarts monitoring using current available market data. Past notification events remain in the notification history.
